The gold rate in Pakistan today recorded a slight decrease as prices fell in both local and international markets on Saturday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the gold price in Pakistan for 24-karat gold declined by Rs 200 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 386,300 compared to Rs 386,500 on the last trading day. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 172, closing at Rs 331,189, while the rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped by Rs 158 to Rs 303,600. In the international market, the gold price slipped by $2, settling at $3,643 per ounce against $3,645 a day earlier. Meanwhile, silver prices also fell. In Pakistan, the silver rate per tola declined by Rs 13, reaching Rs 4,443, whereas the price of 10 grams of silver went down by Rs 11 to Rs 3,809. Globally, silver dropped by $0.13 to $42.15 per ounce.
